I am not the type that “hides”. I am open and communicative. What you see is what you get. I am also the type of person who expresses how I feel. I grew up having to keep secrets, and I am a firm believer that secrets keep you “separate” and “disconnected”. It would have been impossible (for me at least) to hide it from my family, especially my mother. My mother will not admit it, but she is very psychic (like me). She had a dream the very same weekend I went to the nudist resort for the first time (without me telling her). She told me she saw me naked in the driveway. I had to laugh. I certainly couldnt hide anything from her. My mother also made me promise not to tell my brothers, but i did anyway. One was horrified, but he got over it. I think my mother thought if I told my brothers it would wear off on them.

In the late 90’s, I found out through a family friend (that I confided in) that my aunt and uncle (my dad’s sister), were nudists. My aunt and uncle had already passed away by then. I was surprised. Apparently, it was a big secret in their family too. I was swarn to secrecy by my mother not to tell our relatives that I was a nudist, so I didn’t. Later I found out that my parents KNEW my aunt and uncle were nudists.

Within the last year or so, I told my cousins in Israel. They were quite surprised, and I am pretty sure they didn’t hold it against me (at least I hope not).

For some reason, I am feeling a deep desire and craving to be spooned. Spooning for me fills a void inside of me that craves connection, and it also fills a desire in me to be nurtured. Spooning is actually a form of cuddling and affection between a couple. The man lays down in back of the woman and they hold eachother. It can also be visa versa with the woman behind the man. The awakening of the sexy goddess within me was quite unexpected.

The beginning of the awakening began in November 2004 when a relationship I was in came to a sudden halt. I was extremely inhibited with him due to having been hurt very badly by previous relationships, from being a Goddess in Menopause, and from my own self created issues from childhood. All that amounted to “an almost non existant sex life”. I had made a decision somewhere along the way that sex no longer mattered to me. The only problem was it mattered to the man I was with. We never really talked about “my lack of enthusiasm” even when it ended, but I knew the exact moment when he reached “the fed up moment”.

When you look at it from a positive angle, I wouldn’t be where I am today if the relationship hadn’t ended. I went into an immediate emotional talespin and then made a decision to take a series of love, sex and intimacy workshops through the Human Awareness Institute (HAI). In 2005 I flew all over the country taking workshops every other month and ended up taking 5 HAI workshops. My experiences with those workshops were transformational for me. AND I AM STILL GROWING. I remember dating a guy for a few weeks after level 2. Then I went away for the weekend to take Level 3. I discovered the Goddess in me that weekend, and I actually scared the guy I was dating away. For him, I was like a different woman. What’s exciting is that I am excited about sex and intimacy. Out of these workshops also came a book that I wrote call SEXY LOVE AFFIRMATIONS-affirmations is the form of recipes for creating greater, love, sex and romance in relationships. My story began in childhood. Although I was raised by a wonderful loving Jewish mother, I took on her guilt and negative feelings about sex. I grew up believing that sex was “bad” and not to be enjoyed. I was raised by a mother who taught me to be ashamed of my imperfections-my funny toes, my curly hair, etc. She was saying silently and verbally, cover up, hide your body I believed in what she was trying to tell me until I discovered the nudist lifestyle and the freedom of being ME-not having to be perfect. Although the nudist lifestyle has nothing to do with sex, it has helped me to accept my body.

In October 2007, I took Level 6 and just recently in the beginning of April 2008, I took Level 7. I am now looking forward to the last level - Level 8.

My goal is to be the best woman I can be in a relationship, the best woman I can be for me and the best woman I can be in a sexual relationship. The Human Awareness Institute Workshops (HAI) are clothing optional weekend workshops put on by a handful of specially trained HAI Facilitators all over the country and also in Germany, England and Australia. HAI focuses on love, intimacy and sexuality issues for couples and singles. For me, the HAI workshops have been the most significant experiences (and challenging as well) for me in my life. I have learned to embrace my sexuality as the most special and sacred part of my life. I’ve learned not to hold back and to expand outside of my emotional and sexual blocks that I set for myself so long ago. I have discovered my true inner Goddess; and I knew the moment when it happened. I was totally and completely filled with love. It was if I was High. I came home from that particular workshop wanting to reach out and love my friends and family. I revamped my website to create a warm and fuzzy energy and wrote a book called SEXY LOVE AFFIRMATIONS, which I later had published.

I am excited that Sunday, April 20 (two days ago(, we had our first HAI Intro here in Land O’ Lakes, Florida at Caliente Resort and Spa. Caliente is a clothing optional resort. It was not, however, sponsored by Caliente.

We had almost 30 people in attendance for our very first HAI intro and Rich Pasco was in charge of putting it together. A couple, Ann and Rich, who are trained to run HAI intros, flew down from Vermont to facilitate this great event. For me, it was exciting. I’ve waited a long time for HAI to come to Florida.
