This last Saturday I spend the day at Cypress Cove Nudist Resort. What a beautiful place it is. There was a singles weekend going on, so there were a lot of singles there. In the evening there was a dance in the Lakeside Restaurant, and I had so much fun dancing. I will definitely return to Cypress Cove again.

I like to call rebound relationships with rebound lovers Crumb Cake Lovers, because they want you there to pick up the pieces. They just don’t seem to have it together, and they are very emotional. They want someone to take care of them. They stick to you like glue. In order to forget the other person they were involved with they jump blindly into another relationship  before they are emotionally ready without considering the other person and whether or not they are even compatible with them. Then they suddenly wake up from their rebound relationship, and you are left devistated.

Signs of a Rebound Relationship

He/she talks constantly about the other person.

Their relationship ended within the last 4 months.

You find them sitting in the corner crying.

They call constantly.

They compare you to their ex lover.

You visit their home, and there is hardly any furniture in there, or their home is vanilla with no pictures on the walls, etc, because they just don’t care.

SHOULD YOU TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY

I am not the type that “hides”. I am open and communicative. What you see is what you get. I am also the type of person who expresses how she feels. It would have been impossible (for me at least) to hide it from my family, especially my mother. My mother had a dream the very same weekend I went to the nudist resort for the first time (without my telling her). She said she saw me naked in the driveway. I had to laugh. I certainly couldnt hide anything from her. My mother also made me promise not to tell my brothers, but i did anyway. One was horrified, but he got over it. I think my mother thought if I told my brothers it would wear off on them.

In the late 90’s, I found out through a family friend (that I confided in) that my aunt and uncle (my dad’s sister), were nudists. My aunt and uncle had already passed away by then. I was surprised. Apparently, it was a big secret in their family too. I was swarn to secrecy by my mother not to tell our relatives that I was a nudist, so I didn’t. Later I found out that my parents KNEW my aunt and uncle were nudists.

As a single woman, I’ve had my share of answering and receiving of on line personal ads. Here are my own personal dating tips that I thought I would share what I have learned from experience.

Dating Tip #1

Read their personal ad from top to bottom. If their personal ad consists only of their sexual and erotic desires, it is a sure fire bet that they are not looking for a long term committed relationship. Also, if in their ad you see that they are looking for singles and couples, they belong on an alternative dating site. Do not answer their ad.

Dating Tip #2

FOR WOMEN, once they answer your personal ad, and they seem interesting to you, ask for their home number right away. Don’t give them yours yet. Don’t just accept an office phone number. They will either give you their cell phone or their home number. Cell phones are a little tricky, because some people don’t have home phones - just cell phone. If they say, no give me your number, they are probably married or already involved. If they call you from a phone booth, that is a dead giveaway they are already taken.

Dating Tip #3

DO NOT WASTE TIME EMAILING OR IMING BACK AND FORTH FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. TALK TO THEM ON THE PHONE RIGHT AWAY. ALSO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO MEET WITHIN A FEW DAYS.

Dating Tip #4

Insist on a picture. If you are willing to show them yours, they should be willing to show theirs. They might have something to hide and they could be even lieing about their age. Ask them point blank how old they are, especially if things don’t add up.

Dating Tip #5

If you find someone interesting through the personals, and they are local, meet them during the day at a coffee shop.

Dating Tip #6

If you get there on time and they have ALREADY ORDERED before you, they have very little class and their manners are attrocious.

Dating Tip #7

If the waiter or waitress asks for your order, and HE ORDERS FIRST, he has no consideration or respect for women, and he is self absorbed.

Dating Tip #8

If HE asks you to pay for your coffee, oy vey! He’s cheap.

Dating Tip #9

Do not let them come to your house under any circumstances and do not get into their car. Do not tell them where you live under any circumstances.

Dating Tip #10

If after talking to them on the phone or through email or Instant Message, you feel they aren’t right for you, tell them straight out. Don’t play games. If they have an unusually strange or upset reaction and lash out at you verbally, YOU KNOW YOU’VE MADE THE RIGHT DECISION. Do not be pursuaded to meet anyway.

Dating Tip #11

If you get to a first date with them, and you feel comfortable enough to allow them to pick you up at their house great. A sure fire sign that you picked a winner is when they drop you off and don’t walk you to the door. And then they call you again for a date. They don’t know how to treat a woman.

Dating Tip #12

They talk very bad about their ex and they let you know they HATE their ex. Are they going to talk bad about YOU next?
